Noah Trombley’s path into the electrical field began in 2001, influenced by his family’s strong ties to the trades, including his father, two cousins, and an uncle who owned an electrical contracting company. After starting as an electrical apprentice, Noah quickly gained hands-on experience and expanded his skills in estimating and project management. In 2006, he earned his journeyman electrician license and became a master electrician in 2009, further solidifying his expertise.

In 2014, Noah co-founded Bierlein-Trombley Electric (BTE) with business partner Adam Bierlein. The company has since grown rapidly, employing over 40 people and completing more than 410,000 hours of work. His entrepreneurial journey continued in 2019 when he founded BT Tech, a technology-focused branch of BTE, and in 2022, they expanded to Traverse City to better serve northern Michigan.

Beyond business, Noah is deeply committed to his community. He serves on multiple boards, including the Associated Builders and Contractors Executive Board and the Rivers Edge Bay City Development Board. Noah also actively promotes skilled trades education, partnering with the Greater Michigan Construction Academy to create a program for John Glen High School students.

When not working, Noah enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, and participating in outdoor activities like biking and golfing. He is a passionate advocate for both youth development and the growth of the electrical industry in his community.

Bierlein-Trombley Electric started with a phone-call to a friend I had known my whole life asking if he wanted to take a chance. Thankfully he did. Electrical work, specifically value engineering and design, is something I’ve always been passionate about. In starting BTE, it was critical to set the foundation as being an electrical company that’s not only reliable and honest but at the end of the day, does exceptional work. We’ve carefully chosen the team we have and think the world of them, they’re good people who are like family and work their butts off for us. In the few spare hours I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, drinking wine with our marketing director (AKA, my wife), and just enjoying the many blessings God has given me.

Hard work and persistence were something that I learned at an early age.  Growing up working on a farm is where I learned the lessons that have helped me throughout my life and career. Dave, Noah, and myself carry these same values into Bierlein Trombley Technologies. As our customers, you can expect us to go the extra mile to ensure that you are satisfied with our service. Technology changes at an extremely rapid pace, and most of the time, its a struggle just to keep up. Dave is the best there is when it comes to keeping up with everything technology and business related. Because of the synergies that need to happen between electrical and technology, as it relates to business, we felt that having a company to work side by side with BTE to specifically handle those customer needs would allow for a more seamless experience on the client side but with the same service and quality you’ve come to expect on the electrical side.
